We should give Arshavin time to settle in before expecting him to weave his magic.

In any case, now that Arsenal are at their weakest, he will have opportunities galore to step up, inspire the team and become indispensable to Wenger’s plans.

Arshavin moved to a big club.

A lot of people thought that he will score on the first game, but it was just a draw. I think we have to give him time and he will prove that he is a great player in what a lot of people think that it is the best country competition

Although not a gunners fan, I hate to see a fine manager like Wenger having to deal with the likes of Gallas, who is anything but a professional. Gallas conduct in Chelsea was pathetic and now he wants out of Arsenal to go to Italy. This man has poisoned the Gunners dressing room and it’s time for him to go.

As a Milanisti myself, I don’t get this move either. Remember how Ronaldo was supposed to reinvent himself? How did that work out? Not too well.

Yes, David Posh would have to be more defensively aware but I could see him playing against more open teams like Napoli, Atalanta and Roma (who never seemed to be able to play classic Italian defense). Still, I just don’t see how he can help a Milan midfield that’s talented and experienced as you explained. I think you summarized his stint in MLS quite well. We pretty much knew there wasn’t going to be legs (excuse the pun) on the Galaxy marketing stunt.

He seems like a good bloke and most definitely has exquisite passing and dead-ball skills but…I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

It must be terrible for this £50,000 a week professional to hear the people who paid his wages for so long take the piss out of him. That’s right Harry, because professional footballers are superb role models for kids aren’t they? And you’re right, nobody likes being called names. But then again, not many of us have the luxury of being in a high paid profession where you don’t have to take responsibility for anything.
