We all know how Liverpool can produce the spectacular when facing ignominious setbacks. AC Milan will attest to that after losing the Champions League finals in 2005 while leading 3-0.
Clashing with Liverpool is supposed to be the first major test for the young Gunners and though they mustered only a 1-1 draw, it was still a performance worthy of praise from their boss.
Things are not looking good for Liverpool. After the 2-1 defeat by Besiktas, they could be heading towards an early exit from the Champions League.
