Spain emerged victors in the semi-final clash with Russia and many were surprised that a 3-goal deficit still separates both teams as Russia had established themselves convincingly.


Germany must not underestimate Turkey as this is already the third successive match where they came back from the dead but the Turks are worn thin by injuries.

Portugal affirmed their status as the hot favorite for Euro 2008 by sweeping past Turkey with a comfortable 2-0 victory. Four years ago, they were unlucky to be runners-up to Greece.
