I had low expectations; not only was he successor to Jose Mourinho but there were problems with him not having the required coaching badges! The pressure is meant to be mounting on him and I don't know why. He's has the same record as Mourinho after the same number of games but everyone loved him, though no doubt that was partly down to the charisma. Part of me doesn't like Grant but you can't fault his results. His side were excellent against my team West Ham yesterday. On the other hand, you have to look at the Chelsea side and wonder how hard it actually is to manage them. Grant has not done anything different to what Mourinho did, except lose the Carling Cup, which Jose would never have let happen. But they play the same football and the same team, so I am still bemused as to the decision to get rid of Mourinho. I think Abramovich will look for someone else at the end of the season, even if Grant has not done anything wrong. Since Avram Grant we score less goals, suffer less goals, and play more defensive than ever. Even the so called "impressive" run of victories were all against very poor opposition. Everytime a better organised team plays against Chelsea AG is clueless, and chelsea struggles. Yes it is time to bring a manager that knows what to do, this AG maybe a director of footbal, but never a proper manager.
